My career began in January 1997 as a Commercial Real Estate Agent at NAI Capital Commercial, where I specialized in retail, office, and industrial leasing and sales. Over the course of more than five years, I honed my skills in revenue and profit growth through strategic initiatives on behalf of my clients.

In October 2002, I transitioned to Move, Inc. (formerly Homestore, now NewsCorp.) as a Senior Account Executive. During my tenure until June 2004, I quickly became a top closer, managing the fourth largest book of business worth $3MM and selling the largest deal ever recorded by an Account Executive. I completed Homestore Media Sales University Management Development, further developing my expertise in sales management and professional development.

 

From August 2004 to May 2024, I served as the Senior Director of Sales & Operations at 911MEDIA, a division of Trade News International, Inc. I launched four successful startups, expanding 911MEDIA from four to 21 media properties. At the C-Suite level I participated in the acquisition and sale of three businesses. My primary responsibility was leading revenue initiatives for 21 media properties and transforming traditional media brands into digital-first entities while leading a diverse team across sales, design, content, operations, and fulfillment.

 

In May 2018, I participated in the acquisition of, and joined American Police Beat as its National Sales Director (Associate Publisher). Over the next six years, I led the transformation of a struggling traditional media brand into a digital-first market leader with a 30% market share. I grew our distribution and subscriber audience by 600% and forged strategic partnerships with law enforcement labor unions and P.O.S.T. certified training organizations. My digital plan resulted in a sixfold increase in audience size, a 150% year-over-year revenue increase, and a 50% reduction in operating expenses. I served in this role until May 2024.

 

Drawing on my extensive background in sales and operations, I co-founded TOLILAWest in 2024. As the Chief Financial Officer, I have been steering the company towards growth and innovation. Based in Los Angeles with sales and customer service staff across the United States, my role involves a work environment where I focus on product marketing, sales team management, event planning, and project management for both corporations and non-profits. My responsibilities also include leading grassroots revenue efforts, managing annual giving campaigns, and optimizing business processes. I am passionate about crafting impactful marketing and communication plans and providing operational evaluations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Through these efforts, I have successfully launched TOLILAWest into a profitable product marketing, project management and nationwide sales organization, broadening our reach and impact across B2C and B2B markets.

 

Throughout my career, I have excelled in driving revenue growth from startup to scale. My expertise spans project management, team leadership, business process optimization, marketing and communications, product marketing, sales strategy, and operational improvements. I am dedicated to fostering growth and efficiency, leading teams to success, and turning challenges into opportunities for innovation and development.
